we opted for music in the park with friends & it was hot – not too hot to have a styled picnic table though.
i ran to michael’s for cute plates and platters and made the super easy utensil, napkin, straw holders.
directions:
you’ll need: a ball jar, 3 ribbons/material, hot glue gun
1. grab a base ribbon or material, it should be the widest – i used burlap, which i love to style
2. wrap it around the jar and then hit it with the glue gun to secure the wrap – now build from that base
3. next grab the thinner piece of material/ribbon – wrap it around & hit it with the glue gun to secure
4. last step – repeat the process again with your thinnest piece of ribbon/material
obviously, i used blue and white for the 4th, but i recently did this for a friend’s pool party; just vary the colors and material/ribbon.
more beauty shots:
origins of the outfit: america arm stack (arm to wrist): 1 + 2 red bangle & gold links – randolph street market; 3. white bangle - vintage from ava+aliria (great store, Mahattan Beach); 4. navy with sparkle – green goddess ; 5. white balls – sister made; 6. gold bangle – randolph street market; 7. gold links – vintage, grandmom
